Etto opens in the heart of South Melbourne’s piazza

Etto, a new Italian eatery concept, has been welcomed with open arms since opening its doors earlier this year.

Each day fresh pasta is made on site including three different types of tagliatelle (plain, spinach and chilli), spaghetti and papardelle. The tiny pasta bar on South Melbourne’s Clarendon Street also serves a range of raviolis such as Black Angus Beef, and even gluten-free quinoa & amaranth fusilli.

Etto’s freshly made pastas are paired with simplistic sauces such as Black Truffle & Salami, Tuna & Limoncello and Wagyu Meatball Polpette, which are made from local produce including Mount Zero olives, Meredith goats cheese and Italian free-range pork sausages from a nearby butchery at the South Melbourne Market.

For years we’ve been trekking north of the river for decent Italian but our wait is over, as it’s now just down the street!

Open Monday -Friday 11.30am – 9.30pm, weekends and public holidays Midday – 9.30pm
